Reactor Model Starter Program

The reactor starter program gets launched when you select one of the SIM Suite reactor shortcuts from the Start menu or from the desktop SIM Suite v4.0 shortcuts folder. The program supports FCC-SIM, REF-SIM, DC-SIM, HCR-SIM, NHTR-SIM, DHTR-SIM, VGOHTR-SIM and RHDS-SIM. The program acts as a launchpad to your data.

The New Case button launches a new case. For SIM Suite 4.0 and higher this launches the reactor wizard in Petro-SIM Rx where you can configure your model. Earlier versions launch a new master workbook directly in Microsoft Excel. The steps you follow to create a model are described in the Creating SIM Reactors in V4 topic.

Open Case lets you browse for an existing reactor workbook or case, opening your selected item in either Microsoft Excel or Petro-SIM.

V3x Migration allows you to migrate existing models to your current version, launching Excel where you can use the Migration commands on the Petro-SIM Ribbon bar. The Migrating SIM Reactors to V4 topic describes the steps.
