Meters and historians are now supported in dynamics mode

Process data tables can read/write from Petro-SIM instances and OPC servers.

Historian Daynamics Mode Settings

The Platform for Advanced Control and Estimation (PACE) uses process feedback to manage the presence of disturbances occurring during the plant operation.
Petro-SIM dynamics can be used as a surrogate plant for testing control structures and strategies.
Petro-SIM will be exchanging data with PACE whwnever required by the control strategy being studied.
PACE will return new set point to the single-loop control system in Petro-SIM.

With this new functionality Petro-SIM simlulates a smooth dynamic behaviour for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors and expanders).
