Hydroprocessing

  • Improved cold property responses across Distillate Hydrotreaters
  • Improved sulfur kinetics and finger-printing for ULSD operation
  • Added deactivation prediction and tracking of arsenic and silicon poisons in feeds
  • Made calculations run faster in predictions, particularly where conversion, sulfur or nitrogen targets are used
  • Simplified calibration of hydrotreaters operating in once-through hydrogen mode where they can now be calibrated as conventional internal gas recycle systems and then switched

Excel Workbooks

  • Removed size constraints on auto-generated Excel Application and Reporting workbooks, allowing you to adjust maximum number of cases once workbook has been built
  • Improved usability for reporting workbooks by adding feature in Petro-SIM to allow direct updates from within the simulator
  • Added support for Utility objects that have KB-defined content when generating workbooks so that Flowsheet Report utilities generate some content
  • Added support for Microsoft Excel 2013

Database and Platform

  • Enhanced support for .Net platform and for interoperability with .Net
  • Updated database structure to improve reliability and discoverability
  • Updated help engine tools to improve content and functionality (work in progress)
