Apache Log4J Vulnerability and KBC Software

KBC has validated its systems and can assure clients that our software products and DaaS cloud-based systems are not impacted by the reported vulnerability in the Apache Log4J function (CVE-2021-44228). Products and systems specifically validated include:

• Petro-SIM
• Multiflash
• Maximus
• Visual MESA EMS and all it's components
• Visual MESA Production Accounting
• Visual MESA Supply Chain Scheduling
• ProSteam
• DaaS cloud-based services

Further the Sentinel RMS licensing system we use for license management has been verified as not vulnerable by its vendor.
