Synthesis and physical properties
Being able to represent components and create- ‘synthesize’ - streams within Petro-SIM accurately from plant or predicted data from a reactor simulation is key to representing feed/product properties and predicting and optimizing plant performance. The following enhancements have been made in Petro-SIM 7.7:
- Update to ‘Balanced Estimation’ (BE) method for naphtha component synthesis
- Set BE method as default for all new cases
- Viscosity Grade property added with support for ISO grade table.
- Super TRAPP viscosity method added
- New Cracked Furnace stream type added for use with Coker Furnaces and VGO Crackers
- Added GERG variants as property packages options
- Added polymer surface tension property
