Reconciliation messages page

Reconciliation to handle assays that have wt yeld plus vol yield plus SG (or density):

  • A new algorithm has been implemented to improve assay reconciliation
  • Child cuts from a parent cut are now being considered

  • Report detailed composition results in the generated cuts as a result of PNA profiling.

Calibration


Option to use calibration stream for fractionation and recycle streams:

  • With the adoption of external recycles in the FCC and possibly other reactors, the composition of recycle streams is now important to the reactor rather than just the flow rate
  • The shift in recycle composition between the calibration and back-predict causes a shift in the solution and yields when using external recycle



New Alternate Order option

New option to calibrate compressor, expander and pump performance curves with plant data:

  • A new Calibration tab has been added to the pump, compressor and expander unit operation in Petro-SIM v7.6
  • This new feature will use the Calibration tools and fine-tune three scaling factors to shift the performance curves based on Flow (equipment capacity), Head (discharge pressure) and Efficiency (discharge temperature)

New Least Square objective function for Optimizer

  • No more workaround for the old objective function based on cost (Economics)
  • Default set up in Optimizer for minimization

  • There is a new Jacobian page, which its purpose is be used as an organizational page to group tools for analyzing issues in the Jacobian matrix

  • Import/export data from Excel Workbook transferring formulas in Workbook
  • Use basecase preference set to convert units on Workbook Applications

  • Support stream type composition when importing from MFL files
  • Auto save option for strip chart historical data
  • Implement a new PV first order filter and additional units to controller temperature filtering in PID controllers
  • Data reconciliation typical error with the ability to track source meter if it has not been overridden
  • New option to add rectangles on the PFD for graphical representation purposes
  • New PFD text with an option to run user variables
