Petro-SIM 7.3 Tools
Peng-Robinson variants from Multiflash
Peng-Robinson variants and PC-SAFT are now available in Petro-SIM v7.3.

Peng-Robinson Variants
Additionally, the Peneloux liquid density correction is used in the following thermodynamic packages:
- PR (Advanced)
- PR78 (Advanced)
Enhanced hydrate inhibitor flow rate calculations
Using the Lab Analysis Utility, Petro-SIM can accurately calculate the flow rate of hydrate inhibitor as per User specifications.
- The Lab Analysis has a list of common hydrate inhibitors
- The hydrate inhibitor flow rate calculations consider either temperature depression or target temperature

Hydrate inhibitors tab
Emissions reporting and estimation
- Rigorous emissions calculations option in the gas turbine and burner unit operations

GT rigorous emissions page
- Combined heat and power energy units sub-flowsheets can now report a summary of emissions
LP Utility and Base Delta
- The LP Utility and Base-Delta can generate and handle non-linear equations
- Variables used in the Base-Delta can use an exponent term
- Now there the ability to have non-linear expression, i.e. a simple quadratic expression, has been implemented by allowing the user to "clone" the variable term
Miscellaneous improvements
- Ability to expand component list when a Multiflash MFL files is used in Petro-SIM
- Extended composition for C8 and C9 naphthenes
- Tracking the origin of variables in the Multivariable Navigator is now displayed in the trace window
- Spreadsheet now keeps number format from Excel
- KPI Utility now indicates trend, min, max and target
- New ability to export and import component mapping matrices
- Material stream reports the fugacity factor for a specific component
- Excel custom tables take the colour code from Petro-SIM
- Petro-SIM object/view/variable from Excel workbook
- Import assays as XML in Assay manager
- Customizable tooltips
- Crude distillation envelope graph from plant data
