Unit Monitoring Tools enhancements

The Unit Monitoring tools is a core application of KBC's simulation software particularly in refining with the potential to expand beyond that. It forms a key element in ensuring that Petro-SIM becomes a key component of our client’s digitalization strategy. In order to deliver unit monitoring applications, key changes need to be made in KBC Explorer and Petro-SIM to support its growth as the platform for performance monitoring.

New major features include:

• Meters to filter saturated distillation data from residue streams
• New KPI Wizard
• Meter tag configuration using Excel Workbook
• Editing tags in meter multi-viewer and/or DSA utility
• Improved distillation order handling in meter:
  + Use of default values
  + Last good value
• Add an error status column in meters

Miscellaneous improvements on KBC Explorer

• A new option to trend "Simulator vs. Measured" and "Plant vs. Measured" data from MPI utility is now available
• Clear PI point data for a particular data set
• LP Data Gen apps recognition
