Known issues in ProSteam 6.0.14:

Custom units-of-measure conflict with new units

• In ProSteam 6.0.14 new units of measure were introduced:
  • Pressure: MPag, kg/cm2g, inH2Og,
  • Volume flowrate: kbbl/d
  • Energy: Therm
• If an existing model uses custom units of measure that match these spelling but use different letter case then the conversion functions ConvertLM(), ConvertTo(), ConvertFrom() may fail

For example
If a model uses a custom unit "MPaG" for pressure, it may cause a conflict with the new unit "MPag" if ConvertLM("Pressure",...), ConvertTo("Pressure",...), ConvertFrom("Pressure",...) are used in the workbook to convert Pressure values.

• Resolution: Change the units in the model to the new units.
• Contact software@kbcat.com for further advice if necessary.

Known issues in ProSteam 6.0.14 affecting ProSteam ModelBuilder Only

• If the ModelBuilder file encounters the problem listed above for ProSteam toolkit custom units of measure, then critical calculations may fail.
  • Resolution: Change the units in the model to the new units.
  • Contact software@kbcat.com for further advice.
• If the ModelBuilder currency unit is $ and the machine locale is also set to "$", this can cause error messages to appear after calculating the model
  • The error can be ignored, the model will calculate correctly
  • Resolution: Unlock the model, Press F9, Save the model
