License Utilities
KBC provides several license utilities to help you test, manage and administer your licenses. The tools are installed with shortcuts in your Start menu under the KBC (previously KBC Profimatics) entry.
KBC Tools
- KBC License Tester - a tool for installing and testing licenses.
- KBC Commuter Manager - a tool for commuting licenses to a PC, in preparation for taking it off-line. Typically used by laptop PC users before they travel.
Sentinel RMS Tools
These tools are installed in the KBC\SentinelLM Tools folder in your Program Files folder. WlmAdmin is the tool you are most likely to use.

| lspool | Administrator | Command-line | Temporarily configures the redundant license server pool. KBC does not make use of this feature in its licensing. |
| lsrvdown | Administrator | Command-line | Shuts down a license server. |
| lsusage | Administrator | Command-line | Displays information from a license server log file. It can be used to produce CSV files used with ReportDB.mdb (Microsoft Access 2000 or higher) on Windows computers to create license usage reports. |
| lswhere | Administrator | Command-line | Displays the names and IP addresses of license servers on the network. You may find WlmAdmin easier to use on Windows computers. |
| rlftool | Administrator | Command-line | Used for creating redundant license files for configurations that support redundant license servers. |
