What's new in Maximus 7.5

With Maximus 7.5 we impress an acceleration to the transition of Maximus from a primarily design tool to a tool that can be used across the project lifecycle, from early stages of design to operations management and production optimization. In particular, through the enhancement of historian connectivity, history matching and pipeline tuning capabilities, we provide production engineers with a set of tools ready to connect Maximus to field data and make sure the parameters of the model are optimized to match historical data and forecast future production more accurately, therefore improving production plans.
With the upcoming release of the Maximus REST API, all this capability will be soon available through cloud deployment via KBC Acuity. Maximus is further enhanced in the flow assurance area through the introduction of the hydrates blockage risk management tool, which integrates the leading hydrates deposition model developed by University of Western Australia (UWA). Further enhancements in FloWax make wax deposition studies more useful and improve the overall user experience.
Through the collaboration with Caltec, Maximus 7.4 introduced the possibility of modelling surface jet pumps, to increase production of low pressure gas dominated wells, and reduce energy requirement for compression, as well as allowing the extension of the producing life of the well.
